“ Great place to eat seafood at!! Love the old time feel of the restaurant and service the waitress makes sure you're never forgotten, Awesome service! Food portions will make sure you're stuffed by the time you leave lol. Only thing I would change is the tables because most of them aren't leveled so it rocks back and forth and traveling there seems very far so be ready for a travel. It a must visit while in MS! ”
“ All you can eat fish. Great service and food was good as always. And the best part is you get a bottle of tartar sauce so you don't have to keep asking for more like most places ”
“ The very best fried catfish anywhere!! The service is always friendly, accurate and polite. It is such a nice place to bring your family and friends. It's fun to see other families enjoying themselves! ”
“ Great food! Good service! We had the all you can eat catfish with hush puppies, coleslaw and fries? ”
“ Incredibly delicious, couldn't decide on the whole catfish or fillets, so I said to myself "Why not get both!" Great comfortable feel to the place with servers that don't leave you waiting for more. ”
“ This place has the best catfish and slaw I've ever had. I ordered the catfish platter, which came with four fried filets, two hush puppies, French fries (I didn't want these so I asked for mine without) and coleslaw (the server offered to bring two since I didn't want the fries). Boy, am I sure glad I got two coleslaws! Normally I'm not super excited about coleslaw, but this by far the best I've ever had with finely chopped cabbage and just the right amount of dressing. The catfish filets were juicy and tender with an ideal amount of breading. It is reasonably priced. It feels like it is out in the middle of nowhere, and it is quite a drive from Biloxi, but it is worth the trip. ”
“ Southern fried catfish cooked just right! Delicious! Friendly service. Enjoy it every time we go there. ”
“ My young cousin who is an Eagle Scout went here with his troop and raved about how good it was so my husband and I decided to try it. It was so good. The catfish is not super thin and had great texture to it. The coleslaw was the best I have ever gotten anywhere. Prices are great also. Very happy we tried it and we will be back. ”
“ On a whim it was decided...we wanted fried catfish and were looking for an adventure as well. Shaw's, here we come. First of all, it's located in the middle of nowhere if you're coming from Nola or the Northshore. Be prepared to drive down some long, winding (creepy) roads. But part of the adventure is getting there, right? Keep going. It's worth the drive. Just when you think you're about to fall off of the face of the earth Shaw's appears. Whew. But wait. The parking lot is way full. Let's go in anyway. We came all this way, after all. Inside it is slammed. "Oh no," I think. This is going to turn out to be a big fail. It was not. We were seated rather quickly considering the volume of people here. Our waitress was prompt taking our order and had that sweet southern drawl that I love. She brought out a big ass bowl of coleslaw and our drinks while we waited on the reason we'd come all this way...the fried catfish. Here's what you can look forward to at Shaw's: -Excellent food and service (that catfish was to die for) -Excellent people watching. Trust me. -All you can eat catfish/fries/hush puppies. -Laid back, casual atmosphere (my personal favorite) -Affordable I'm already craving that catfish again. ”
“ Shaw's is the kind of place you gotta listen to the locals to find. You could drive right past it and never even know it was there. Too bad if you do, though...because if you're in the area on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night and you don't stop in...you're gonna miss out on some of the best fried catfish that the Coast has to offer! If you leave hungry from Shaw's...it's your own fault because they're going to feed you more than you can eat! It's on the right (north side) of Hwy 53 before (just west of) the intersection of Hwy 603. It's about 18 miles or so west of Hwy 49 in Gulfport. ”
